Agency on Aging
The Agency on Aging (AOA) provides application assistance for programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, LEAP, and other benefits. AOA also helps connect individuals with essential services including transportation, personal care, and Meals on Wheels. Veteran-specific programs include Veteran-Directed Home and Community-Based Services, which support Veterans in remaining safely and independently in their own homes.
County Health Departments
County Health Departments provide medical and dental services (sliding scale fee), suicide prevention, immunizations and more.
MT Dept. Of Public Health and Human Services
DPHHS connects veterans to resources for crisis support, healthcare, housing, employment, and military services. As part of Montana’s Network of Care for Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families, it also administers programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, emergency aid, and TANF for eligible Montanans.
